School Policies

TUITION / DISCOUNTS / MAKE UP CLASSES

Registration Fee – There is a $35 annual registration fee per student with a maximum of $70 per household.(Late Registration after 9-1-09 an additional fee of $10 will be added.) Registration fees do not apply to fitness classes. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Tuition – Tuition is based on an annual fee for the school year from September 2009-June 2010 and is not based on how many classes are in a particular month. Tuition may be paid in full during registration dates and receive a 5% discount on all regular priced classes or, for your convenience tuition may be made in 5 easy installments payable on or before the 7 th of September, November, January, March and May. A $10.00 late fee will be assessed monthly if a payment has not been made by the above dates. The $10 late fee will still be charged when the student is absent. Ginger's Dance is not responsible for payment reminders. Students may not attend class if payment schedule is not current. There is a $40 fee for all returned checks.

Registration must be completed and tuition paid before attending classes.

Tuition and registration are neither transferable nor refundable.

New Discount Policies – Please note there will not be an increase in dance tuition rate this semester. However in order to do so, changes must be made to the discount policies, The following is a list of the policies for the 2009-2010 year. Discounts do not apply to semi-private lessons. Discounts do not apply to pro-rated sessions.

During registration days only, we offer a 5% discount for classes when full tuition is paid.
Special offer for individual students ( this offer does not apply to families unless the individual student meets the guidelines): any individual student taking more than (3) classes per week will receive a 50% discount for every class after their 3rd class. Discount is taken on classes of equal or lesser value. Discount does not apply to fitness.

PIANO/VOCAL/GUITAR LESSONS – ½ hour private lesson $25 per class. NEW Tuition payment format. For your convenience please refer to dance tuition payment schedule. Payments will be due on or before the 7 th for September, November, January, March and May. Private lessons are reserved per 2 month session and are based on the number of classes per session. Class time will be forfeited if not paid in advance. A $10 late fee will be assessed monthly if payment is not received by the 7 th of each month. Please be advised that if a student is absent, even with advance notice, tuition must still be paid in order for us to reserve your scheduled lesson. Registration fees do apply to private lessons. Discounts do not apply to private lessons.

MAKE-UP CLASSES – Students will be able to make-up classes because of illness, school cancellation, holiday, or vacation. Make-ups must be taken within a one month period. No reimbursements are applicable for classes not made up. If class is not made up within a registered session, it is not eligible for make-up.

INCLEMENT WEATHER - In the event of inclement weather, call the studio after 8:30 am for all morning classes and after 3:30 for all afternoon classes and listen to recorded message to find out if classes are cancelled. All cancellations will also be announced on television stations 6, 9, 10, 13 and the local radio stations through the school closings network.
